Hints & Tips
Foam 2 Foam Glue Strong hold ,allows adjustment. Directions on use Apply Foam to Foam to one surface and bring surfaces together holding firmly for 5-10 secs. Joint strength maximises in 1-2 hours and will exceed the foam itself. Final joint is tough, flexible, and resistant to fracture.
Benefits How to use it to bond foam Use Deluxe Materials Foam Blaster in preference to others when white or blue foam is being bonded with cyano glue. Bonding wood to white or blue foam Spray or brush onto foam the complete area to be bonded and allow to fully dry. Overcoat beyond the bonding area a second time to be safe. Apply smallest amount of Roket Odourless or similar foam safe cyano to wood and bring parts together after 5 secs. Test cyano and technique on scrap material before use. Bonding white or blue foam to foam: Spray or brush onto both surfaces. Allow to dry . Apply cyano to one surface and immediately bring parts together for rapid bond. Deluxe Materials Foam Blaster may also be sprayed or brushed directly onto cyano for instant bonds . Wipe nozzle outlet occasionally to keep a fine spray action. Clean with alcohol or methylated spirits. Super Phatic Since it is formulated to be very thin, filling gaps with Super Phatic can be difficult. But, if you fill the gap with balsa dust and then apply Super Phatic. The Super Phatic will soak into the dust creating a strong light weight bond. Between uses, keep your metal tip for Super Phatic in a small jar of water (a baby food jar is a great size). The water prevents any Super Phatic from setting up within the tip and is easily blown out of the tube when you’re ready to use it.
